We are seeking an energetic and reliable Shuttle Driver / Gym Coach to join our dynamic team! The position is connected to OMAC's After-School Pickup Program which operates throughout the school year.
In this dual role, you will be responsible for safely transporting members and staff between designated locations while also providing engaging and engaging fitness coaching at our gym facilities. Your enthusiasm for customer service, strong communication skills, and mechanical knowledge will help create a positive experience for everyone you serve.
Duties
Safely operate shuttle vehicles to transport members, staff, and visitors across specified routes, ensuring punctuality and safety at all times
Conduct routine vehicle inspections, perform basic maintenance checks, and report any mechanical issues promptly to ensure vehicle reliability
Provide excellent customer service by greeting passengers warmly, answering questions, and assisting with boarding procedures
Maintain cleanliness and organization of shuttle vehicles to uphold safety standards and a qualified appearance
Support Taekwondo staff by helping keep members organized and engaged,
lead warm ups and support drills by collaborating with team members
Communicate effectively with team members and members alike to foster a welcoming atmosphere and address any concerns or needs
Requirements
Valid commercial driver’s license with a clean driving record and experience in commercial driving
Mechanical knowledge to perform routine vehicle inspections, basic repairs, and maintenance tasks
Proficiency in English for clear communication with team members and customers
Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
Excellent communication skills to effectively relay information and motivate participants during coaching sessions
Ability to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods during shifts; physical stamina is essential
Prior experience in fitness coaching or gym environments is preferred but not required; training will be provided as needed
