PAWfect SPA is an up-scaled grooming salon in the St. Clair W and Bathurst area. Currently, we are recruiting a Part-Time/Full Time Professional Pet Stylist or Pet Grooming Assistant position.

Job Description
Perform basic grooming services includes brushing/de-matting, shampoo/conditioning and blow drying of animals
Follow breed standards or owner’s instruction when trimming, clipping or stripping an animal’s coat (For Pet Stylist only)
Complete and file grooming log records for each pet groomed
Ensure Grooming Salon cleanliness and safety to our standards
Assist in booking and re-confirming grooming appointments
Interact with customers to ensure our salon exceeds their expectations
Explain our grooming services, standard procedures and pet trim styles to our clients




Special projects as assigned

Education
A grooming school diploma or certificate is mandatory (For Pet Stylist only)
A high school diploma or its equivalent is mandatory

Requirements
Must have working experience in handling animals (handling their own dogs/cats do not count)
Respect and have appreciation for pets and their owners
Have good verbal and written communication skills
Have good public and personal relations skills
Have valuable organizational skills and attention to details
Socially oriented and enjoy working with people, along with a compassion to animals
Able to do multiple ongoing tasks simultaneously
Pleasant personality and capable of working in a team oriented environment
Have good hygiene and appropriate dress
Have sufficient physical conditions that would fulfill the successful completion of all duties as necessary
Bilingual English / Japanese speaking is an asset

Salary: $17.60 - $25 depends on experience
