Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant, with experience, to support our pharmacy team in providing exceptional patient care. The ideal candidate will assist with medication dispensing, inventory management, and patient interactions, ensuring smooth pharmacy operations. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in healthcare and looking to develop their skills in a quick-paced medical workplace. Prior experience in hospital settings or pharmacy technician roles is highly valued, as well as experience with kroll software.

Duties
Assist licensed pharmacists with medication preparation and dispensing
Manage inventory levels, including stock replenishment and organization
Provide excellent patient care by answering questions and offering guidance on over-the-counter products
Prepare prescription labels and ensure accuracy of medication information
Maintain accurate records of medication transactions and patient interactions
Support administrative tasks such as data entry and filing medical records
Follow all safety protocols and maintain confidentiality of patient information




Utilize medical terminology effectively to communicate with healthcare professionals and patients
Accurately blister packing medications

Experience
Prior experience in a hospital or healthcare setting is preferred
Experience as a pharmacy technician or similar role is highly desirable
Strong understanding of medical terminology and medication administration procedures
Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient care and customer service
Ability to work efficiently in a team environment while managing multiple tasks effectively
Knowledge of pharmacy software systems is a plus, particularly kroll software

Pay: $16.00-$18.00 per hour
