Shim Law is a busy and fast-growing Calgary law firm located in downtown Calgary. We are currently seeking an experienced Legal Assistant to join our growing practice.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of full time experience in Alberta as a legal assistant, preferably with experience in family law and civil litigation. The candidate should be familiar with court procedures for these area of practice.

The successful candidate should be able to manage files from beginning to end with minimal supervision in a high-volume work environment while assisting one lawyer. Strong client communication skills and the ability to provide skilled support to clients are essential.

The candidate must also have solid attention to detail, particularly with respect to financial matters,



including invoicing, collections, and trust-related procedures. The ability to diarize deadlines, follow up on required tasks, and ensure that all work is completed within stated timelines is required.

A Diploma or Certification as a Legal Assistant or Paralegal is preferred.

Pay: $40,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
