Furniture Custom Upholsterer :

Location: Vaughan, Ontario
Pay: $25–$32 per hour, based on experience and skill level

Job Summary :

We are looking for an experienced Furniture Custom Upholsterer to join our team in Vaughan. The successful candidate will have hands-on experience upholstering custom furniture and be comfortable working with different fabrics, leather, foam, and upholstery materials.

Key Responsibilities :
Upholster custom furniture including sofas, chairs, ottomans, benches, and other upholstered pieces.
Measure, cut, and prepare fabric, leather, foam, and other upholstery materials.
Remove and replace existing upholstery when required.
Install and secure upholstery using appropriate tools and techniques.
Ensure proper alignment, fit, tension, and finishing of upholstery materials.
Read and follow furniture designs, patterns, measurements, and specifications.
Inspect finished furniture to ensure high-quality workmanship.
Maintain a clean, organized, and secure work area.




Work efficiently while meeting production and quality requirements.

Qualifications :
Minimum 2 years of furniture upholstery experience preferred.
Strong hands-on skills in custom furniture upholstery.
Experience working with sofas, chairs, benches, or similar furniture.
Ability to use common upholstery tools and equipment safely.
Valuable attention to detail and quality.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Reliable, punctual, and committed to long-term employment.
