Carpenter / 4th Year Apprentice & 1st Year Apprentices

We are currently looking for one Journeyperson Carpenter or 4th Year Apprentice, along with two 1st Year Carpenter Apprentices, for an upcoming installation project.

About the Project

The early stages of the project will involve receiving, moving, organizing and handling product deliveries in preparation for a sequenced installation process.

A senior installer will be on site to manage the crew and oversee the project. The Journeyperson Carpenter or 4th Year Apprentice should have previous experience with metal cabinetry and/or cabinetry installation.

1 Journeyperson Carpenter OR 4th Year Apprentice
2 First Year Carpenter Apprentices

Expected Duration
Journeyperson / 4th Year Apprentice: Approximately 3 weeks
1st Year Apprentices: Approximately 1–2 weeks

Responsibilities
Receive, move and organize product and materials




Assist with preparation for the installation sequence
Install metal cabinetry and related components
Follow direction from the senior installer/project lead
Use hand and power tools safely
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Follow all site and workplace safety procedures
Work cooperatively as part of the installation crew

Qualifications

Journeyperson / 4th Year Apprentice:
Carpentry experience required
Metal cabinetry or cabinetry installation experience strongly preferred
Comfortable working independently and as part of a crew
Robust attention to detail
Reliable and safety focused

1st Year Apprentices:
Registered 1st Year Carpenter Apprentice preferred
Willingness to learn and follow direction
Comfortable with material handling and physically demanding work
Reliable, punctual and safety focused
Ability to work effectively as part of a team

Pay: $25.00-$48.00 per hour
