Overview

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Contractor to join our team, dedicated to ensuring the optimal operation and safety for our tenants. In this role, you will be responsible for performing general maintenance repairs, groundskeeping including snow removal and lawn care, and act as an on call maintenance service for the tenants. This position offers an exciting prospect for individuals passionate about hands-on maintenance work and creating a positive impact in our community.

Responsibilities
Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on manufacturing equipment, facilities, and systems to ensure smooth operation.
Routinely inspect crawl spaces, sump pumps, and monitor for water issues.
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and control system issues.
Repair or replace faulty components within tenant units and common spaces as needed.
Coordinate contractors for advanced electrical and plumbing work.




Maintain facility grounds including regular snow removal in the winter and lawn care / weed control in the summer.
Consistently communicate with local manager to coordinate maintenance repairs and remain within the required operating budget.
Act as an on call personnel for tenants experiencing maintenance issues within their units.

Requirements
Experience in generalized maintenance and repair work.
Physically able to perform manual labour and knowledge in operating basic equipment.
Local to Bruno or able to accommodate your own transportation to the housing authority.
Excellent communication skills to coordinate with local manager, additional contractors and board members effectively.
Demonstrated leadership qualities to effectively manage tasks and complete maintenance requirements in a timely manner.

Pay: From $1,230.00 per month
