Overview

We are an established trucking company located in Comber, Ontario looking for someone dependable, organized, motivated and energetic to join our team.

Duties
Coordinate and schedule freight pickups and deliveries using transportation management software TruckMate
Communicate effectively with drivers, shippers, staff, and clients via multi-line phone systems while maintaining qualified phone etiquette.
Enter and update shipment data accurately into relevant systems, ensuring real-time tracking and documentation of freight movements.
Monitor shipping & receiving operations to ensure timely dispatches and arrivals, resolving any issues promptly through analysis skills.
Completion of oversized/overweight permits.
Manage shipping documentation, including manifests, customs documents, bills of lading, and delivery confirmations with attention to detail.
Maintain organized records of all dispatch activities, including inbound/outbound.

Experience




Experience working with transportation management systems TMS is an asset but not required.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to handle multi-line phone systems professionally and courteously.
Proficiency in data entry with high accuracy; typing speed is a plus.
Analytical mindset capable of assessing freight data to optimize dispatch processes.
AP and AR experience is an asset.
Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced setting while managing multiple priorities effectively.

Pay: $25.00-$32.00 per hour
