Are you a dedicated, detail-oriented Licensed Optician looking to be part of a well-established, family-owned business? Discount optical has been a trusted provider of optical services for over 40 years and we are looking to hire a passionate optician to join our team.

Responsibilities:
Assist customers in selecting the best eyewear options, considering style, functionality, and budget.
Take measurements, fit, adjust, and repair eyeglasses
Perform contact lens fittings for patients
Handle store operations in the absence of the manager
Provide excellent customer service and build lasting relationships with clients.
Maintain knowledge of the latest optical trends and product offerings.
Ensure compliance with health and safety standards.

Qualifications:
Licensed Optician under the College of Ontario




Strong knowledge of eyewear products and lens options.
Knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Excellent communication skills and ability to work with a diverse clientele.
Detail-oriented with a passion for providing the best customer care.
Ability to work independently and as part of a close-knit team.
Portuguese as a second language is a plus, but not required.

Pay: $19.94-$26.00 per hour
