Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and materials safely and efficiently to various locations. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to operate heavy equipment. The Truck Driver will play a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining the integrity of the freight.

Responsibilities
Operate trucks and heavy equipment in a protected and efficient manner.
Transport freight to designated locations according to scheduled routes.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling of materials.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery times.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues.
Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while on the road.
Assist with basic automotive repairs as needed to ensure vehicle readiness.




Operate forklifts for loading and unloading freight when required.

Qualifications
Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) is required.
Proven experience in commercial driving or heavy equipment operation is preferred.
Knowledge of automotive repair is a plus, enabling quick troubleshooting on the road.
Ability to handle freight safely, including knowledge of weight limits and load securing techniques.
Forklift certification is advantageous but not mandatory; training may be provided.
Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a rapid-paced workplace.
Must pass background checks and adhere to safety regulations.
