Job Summary

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to support daily pharmacy operations. You will assist pharmacists in preparing prescriptions, managing inventory, and delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
Accurately prepare and label prescriptions under pharmacist supervision
Accurately prepare and label blister packs
Assist customers at the counter and over the phone with professionalism and care
Maintain inventory levels, check expiry dates, and receive pharmaceutical orders
Operate the cash register and process insurance claims
Ensure cleanliness and compliance with health and safety regulations
Support administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and prescription refills





Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent (required)
Completion of a Pharmacy Assistant or Technician program (preferred)
Previous experience in a retail or community pharmacy setting (asset)
Familiarity with pharmacy software Propel Rx is a requirement
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to multitask and work independently or as part of a team
