Job Overview
We are seeking a dependable and motivated Dishwasher/Kitchen Helper to join our busy food service team. This role is essential in maintaining a clean, organized, and effective kitchen environment. The ideal candidate will support food preparation and service operations, ensuring all dishes and kitchenware are properly cleaned and sanitized. Previous kitchen or restaurant experience is a plus, but we welcome applicants eager to learn and grow within the food industry. This position offers an opportunity to develop skills in food handling, safety, and basic meal preparation.

Responsibilities
Wash dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen equipment promptly and thoroughly to maintain cleanliness standards
Assist with basic meal preparation and food handling as needed
Support the kitchen staff with food prep tasks such as chopping, assembling ingredients, or organizing supplies
Ensure all food service areas are clean, sanitized, and organized at all times
Help with waste disposal and recycling procedures in accordance with safety guidelines
Maintain a safe and hygienic workspace by adhering to food safety protocols




Assist in setting up dining areas or serving stations when required
Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment for staff and customers

Qualifications
Prior experience in food service, restaurant work, or kitchen environments is preferred but not required
Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures is advantageous
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards assisting others
Willingness to learn current skills related to meal preparation and food service operations
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy pots or moving supplies safely
Basic understanding of kitchen cleanliness practices and safety regulations
