Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Rust Check Undercoater to join our automotive service team. In this role, you will be responsible for applying rust-proofing and undercoating treatments to vehicles, ensuring long-lasting protection against corrosion. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, experience with automotive repairs, and familiarity with various hand and power tools. Responsibilities
Prepare vehicles for undercoating by cleaning and masking areas as needed
Apply rust-proofing treatments using specialized equipment and techniques
Operate hand tools and power tools safely to complete applications
Inspect vehicles post-treatment to ensure quality standards are met
Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency
Assist with vehicle repairs or other mechanical tasks as required




Follow all safety protocols and procedures during application processes

Skills
Mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand vehicle components
Proficiency with hand tools and power tools used in automotive applications
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely, including lifting parts or equipment up to 50 pounds
Experience working with automotive undercoating or rust-proofing products is a plus
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions accurately
Mechanic experience is advantageous for understanding vehicle structures and systems

Pay: $17.00-$19.00 per hour
