Responsibilities
Assist in food preparation by chopping, slicing, measuring, and assembling ingredients according to recipes and standards
Support cooking activities by preparing components of dishes under the supervision of chefs or kitchen managers
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, including proper food handling and sanitation practices
Ensure all food is stored correctly, adhering to food safety regulations and guidelines
Help with plating and presentation of meals to ensure visual appeal and quality standards are met




Follow all health and safety protocols diligently to prevent cross-contamination and ensure food safety compliance
Support serving staff during busy periods by preparing ingredients or assisting with basic meal assembly as needed

Requirements
Prior experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen settings
Knowledge of food handling procedures and safety standards in the food industry
Ability to perform basic cooking tasks such as chopping, measuring, and assembling ingredients efficiently
Strong understanding of meal preparation techniques and food safety practices
Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward supporting colleagues in a rapid-paced setting
Reliable with good time management skills to meet preparation deadlines during busy service hours
Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate weights, and perform repetitive tasks comfortably

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
