We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Live-in Caregiver to provide exceptional senior care in a home setting. This vital role involves offering personalized assistance to seniors, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being around the clock. As a Live-in Caregiver, you will become a trusted companion and support system, helping seniors maintain independence while managing daily tasks with energy and empathy. Your proactive approach will create a warm, protected setting where seniors can thrive and enjoy quality of life.
Responsibilities
Assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene
Assist in regular exercise, e.g., walk
Feed or assist in feeding
Launder clothing and household linens
Mend clothing and linens
Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
Provide companionship
Provide personal care
Shop for food and household supplies
Prepare and serve nutritious meals
Cook
Experience
Prior experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, hospice care, or home care environments is highly preferred
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently while maintaining proper body mechanics.
Proven caregiving skills with a focus on compassion, patience, and adaptability in diverse situations.
Familiarity with cleaning routines essential for maintaining hygiene standards in a home setting.
Speaking in Sinhala is an added advantage
Pay: $38.50-$44.50 per hour
Expected hours: 35.0 – 45.0 per week
