Ironman Directional Boring is at the forefront of this development using technologically advanced locating systems to ensure the most accurate and safe underground navigation. Not only do we serve Oil and Gas, Industrial, Utility - we also offer many services for homeowners including farms, acreages, stables, septic fields, urban renewal programs and EV Charging stations in need of underground service.
Ironman Directional Boring has immediate openings for Directional Drillers and Locators to work within the City of Edmonton and area. This is a in town position for majority of work.
Requirements:
Must be able to pass a pre-employment Drug & Alcohol test
Preference will be given to candidates possessing a valid Class 1 driver's license.
Minimum of 2 years of previous experience working in civil construction, 2 years of drilling/locating experience is required
Understands how to lay out a bore path with prints and locates
How to read plans and construction drawings
How to read and verify locate and One-Call tickets, and utility flags
Ability to perform strenuous outdoor work in exposed weather conditions
Must be physically fit and able to lift 50lbs, unassisted
Completed CSTS, WHMIS 2015, Ground Disturbance II, First Aid
H2S Alive, and Confined Space is an asset
High School diploma or GED required
Job Types: Full time, Permanent
Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour
