Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Customer Service Associate / Cashier to join our team at IKON sushi. We are a sushi takeout restaurant located in Markham. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service while efficiently handling transactions. Your ability to engage with customers and promote our products will be key in creating a positive shopping experience.

Duties
Greet customers warmly and provide assistance as needed.
Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system to process transactions accurately.
Handle cash, credit, and debit card payments while ensuring compliance with company policies.
Packaging takeout order
Maintain a clean and organized area.
Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during peak hours.
Address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to enhance satisfaction.
Collaborate with team members to meet store goals and improve overall customer experience.





Skills
Previous experience in cashiering or quick food restaurant is preferred.
Solid customer service skills with a focus on building relationships.
Multilingual abilities are highly valued, enhancing communication with diverse customers.
Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
Ability to sell products effectively through engaging conversations and demonstrations.
Proficient in using POS systems and other retail technology.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.60-$21.00 per hour
