We are a progressive dairy and crop farm looking for an experienced Farm Infrastructure & Equipment Operator to join our team.

This is a unique position for someone with experience in excavation, landscaping, construction, drainage, or heavy equipment operation who enjoys a variety of projects and working independently.

Responsibilities
Operate excavators, wheel loaders, skid steers, tractors and other heavy equipment
Complete excavation and grading projects around the farm
Locate, repair and install agricultural drainage tile
Clean and maintain ditches and drainage systems
Excavate and expand ponds
Demolish old barns and farm structures
Clean up and improve farm properties
Complete laneway, site preparation and general earthmoving projects
Assist with concrete removal and site preparation
Maintain and inspect equipment being operated
Assist with general farm equipment operation when infrastructure projects are slower

What We're Looking For




Previous excavator, landscaping, construction, drainage or heavy equipment experience
Comfortable operating equipment independently
Valuable mechanical aptitude
Able to assess a job and determine how to complete it efficiently
Takes pride in doing clean, finished work
Reliable and responsible
Able to work independently without constant supervision
Farm experience is an asset but not required

We are particularly interested in someone who has worked in excavation, landscaping, drainage, sitework or construction and would like a steady, year-round position with a variety of equipment and projects.

Full time, year-round employment.

Pay: $26.00-$32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 – 60.0 per week
