Join our dairy farm team as a Dairy Farmer Worker/Milker. In this role, you will be responsible for the daily care and milking of dairy cattle, ensuring the health and productivity of the herd. Your energetic communicative and pay attention to detail will help maintain smooth farm operations. You must be fit and able to lift heavy items and climb. Pay will depend on experience. Willing to train the right person. If tractor work with the animal is your calling we can discuss a job description and times. If Milking is your interest, we start at 3:30am & 3:30pm (don't be late). Days will be discussed. We like to keep our employee's a long time, so we only like to hire a committed dedicated people that give 100%. This may start as a part time position and grow into a full time. Responsibilities
Operate milking equipment efficiently and hygienically to ensure clean and protected milk collection
Assist with feeding, watering, and caring for dairy cattle to promote health and comfort
Perform routine inspections of animals for signs of illness or injury, reporting concerns promptly
Maintain cleanliness of milking stations, barns, and surrounding areas to uphold farm hygiene standards




Handle farm machinery and mechanical equipment with proper safety precautions
Assist with herd management tasks such as breeding, record keeping, and health treatments
Participate in heavy lifting and climbing activities related to feed bags, equipment, and supplies as needed

Requirements
Basic mechanical knowledge to operate and troubleshoot farm machinery safely
Ability to perform heavy lifting regularly in a physically demanding environment
Experience or familiarity with farm machinery such as milking systems, feed dispensers, and tractors is preferred
Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions and on a versatile schedule
Strong attention to detail and commitment to animal welfare
Prior experience on a dairy farm is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided for motivated candidates
Must have a valid drivers license and your own vehicle to get to and from work
Must be able to work legally without a LMIA ( we do NOT supply housing)
Must live in Abbotsford or Mission (making a further commute does not make sense)

Pay: $18.25-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 4.0 – 40.0 per week
