Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Lube Technician to join our automotive service team. The ideal candidate will perform routine vehicle maintenance, including oil changes and fluid top-offs, ensuring customer vehicles are serviced efficiently and safely. Duties
Conduct oil and filter changes on a variety of vehicle makes and models
Perform routine maintenance tasks such as fluid replacements, tire rotations, and belt inspections
Utilize hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to complete service procedures accurately
Inspect vehicles for potential issues and communicate findings to customers or service advisors
Maintain cleanliness of work area and ensure all tools are properly stored after use
Assist with additional mechanical repairs or maintenance as needed
Provide excellent customer service by explaining services performed and addressing customer questions
Support sales efforts by recommending additional services or products when appropriate

Skills




Previous dealership or mechanic experience preferred
Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive systems and repair procedures
Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely (up to 50 pounds)
Excellent customer service skills with a skilled attitude
Valuable communication skills to explain technical information clearly to customers
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Basic sales skills to promote additional services or products when appropriate
