Duties
Operate laundry machines and equipment to wash, dry, fold, and iron linens, towels, uniforms, and guest items with precision and care
Sort laundry items by color, fabric type, and cleaning requirements to ensure optimal results
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area, including proper storage of supplies and linens
Follow safety protocols and proper handling procedures for chemicals and machinery to ensure a safe working environment
Assist with general cleaning duties around the hotel or facility to uphold high standards of hygiene and presentation
Monitor inventory levels of laundry supplies and notify management when restocking is needed
Support team members during peak times by efficiently managing laundry tasks to meet operational demands
Skills
Previous hotel experience or familiarity with hospitality industry standards is highly preferred
Solid knowledge of laundry processes, including washing, drying, folding, and stain removal techniques
Excellent cleaning skills with an eye for detail to ensure linens are spotless and well-maintained
Ability to operate laundry machinery safely and efficiently while adhering to safety guidelines
