We are seeking a energetic and dedicated Truck Driver - Class 1 to join our transportation team! Responsibilities
Safely operate a Class 1 commercial truck to transport freight over short and long distances, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, including checking brakes, lights, tires, and load security
Load and unload freight using forklifts or other heavy equipment when necessary, ensuring proper handling and documentation
Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, delivery records, and vehicle maintenance reports in compliance with regulatory requirements
Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse staff,



and clients to coordinate pickups and deliveries
Perform minor automotive repairs or troubleshooting as needed to ensure vehicle reliability and safety
Follow all safety protocols related to heavy equipment operation and freight handling

Skills
Valid Class 1 commercial driver’s license with a clean driving record
Experience operating forklifts and other heavy equipment in a logistics or warehouse setting
Knowledge of freight handling procedures and securement techniques
Ability to perform basic automotive repairs and troubleshoot mechanical issues
Robust understanding of safety regulations related to commercial driving and heavy equipment operation
Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and clients
Physical ability to load, unload, lift heavy items, and perform inspections as required
