We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will support pharmacists in day-to-day dispensing activities, patient interactions, and overall pharmacy operations. This role is well suited for someone with prior pharmacy or hospital experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced, patient-focused workplace. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of medical terminology are essential. The Pharmacy Assistant plays a key role in ensuring accurate medication distribution and delivering excellent patient care.

Availability Requirement:
Candidates must be able to work a minimum of 24 hours per week, including at least three weekdays and at least two Saturdays per month. Preference will be given to applicants who can accommodate a flexible work schedule to support pharmacy operations as needed.

Responsibilities
Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing prescription medications accurately and efficiently
Enter prescription data into pharmacy systems with a high level of accuracy
Manage inventory, including restocking shelves and ensuring proper storage of medications
Provide courteous and qualified patient service,



including answering general questions under pharmacist supervision
Process insurance claims and assist with billing procedures as required
Label, package, and organize medications for dispensing
Maintain cleanliness, organization, and workflow efficiency within the pharmacy
Follow all safety protocols and regulatory standards related to medication handling and patient confidentiality
