Position: TIG Welder / Fitter

Location: Concord, ON
Shift: afternoon

One of our clients is urgently seeking a skilled TIG Welder / Fitter with strong experience in stainless and mild steel fabrication. The ideal candidate will demonstrate precision, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a quick-paced manufacturing setting while maintaining high-quality standards.

Responsibilities

· Perform high-quality TIG welding on stainless steel and mild steel components

· Interpret and work from blueprints, technical drawings, and welding symbols

· Measure, cut, and assemble materials with precision using appropriate tools

· Inspect finished welds to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards

· Maintain a clean and safe work setting in accordance with safety regulations

· Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals

· Report any defects, issues, or safety concerns promptly





Qualifications & Requirements

· Minimum 5 years of experience as a TIG Welder/Fitter required

· Strong proficiency in TIG welding techniques

· Experience working with stainless steel and mild steel

· Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and welding symbols

· Familiarity with precision measurement tools and techniques

· Welding certification or relevant vocational training is considered an asset

· Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work

· Good verbal and written communication skills

· Solid understanding of workplace safety standards and procedures

· Ability to lift and handle materials up to 50 lbs

Pay: $26.00-$31.00 per hour
