One of our manufacturing clients in GTA, ON region is looking for a Refrigeration Technician B for their facility.

Shift - Rotational Weekend Shift

Pay - $40 - $50/hr

Key Responsibilities:-
Perform regular inspections, maintenance, and repair of refrigeration systems (e.g., compressors, condensers, evaporators, valves, etc.).
Monitor and adjust refrigeration systems to ensure proper operation and temperature control in accordance with company standards.
Identify and troubleshoot refrigeration issues, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
Maintain documentation of system performance, maintenance records, and refrigerant usage logs.
Assist in maintaining compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other safety/environmental regulations.
Respond to emergency repair calls and perform root cause analysis for recurring issues.




Work collaboratively with other maintenance staff and operations teams to minimize downtime.
Follow all safety procedures including lockout/tagout, PPE use, and confined space entry protocols.
Support in training junior technicians or operators as needed.

Qualifications:
Completion of a college diploma, vocational, or technical training program
Possession of a valid Class B Refrigeration License (required)
Red Seal Journeyperson Certification in Refrigeration (an asset)
At least 3 years of hands-on experience working with ammonia refrigeration systems and performing routine maintenance tasks
