Job Overview
Brite Star Painting Ltd. is seeking an experienced and reliable Commercial & Residential Painter to join our growing team in the Lower Mainland. In this role, you will deliver high-quality interior and exterior painting services for residential homes and commercial properties.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare surfaces (sanding, patching, mudding, caulking, filling holes, taping, priming)
Apply paints, stains, varnishes, and specialty coatings using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment
Complete interior and exterior painting for residential and commercial projects
Protect work areas using drop sheets, masking, and proper prep techniques
Perform minor drywall repairs (patching, skim coating, texture touch-ups)
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site
Communicate professionally with clients and team members
Follow safety procedures when using ladders, lifts,



and scaffolding
Ensure all work meets company quality standards

Requirements
Minimum 1–2 years of professional painting experience
Strong knowledge of surface preparation and finishing techniques
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Experience with spray equipment (airless, HVLP) is an asset
Comfortable working at heights (ladders, lifts)
Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
Fluent English communication skills required
Valid Class 5 driver’s license (preferred)
Ability to travel to job sites across the Lower Mainland
