Broken Spanish is growing, and we’re looking for an experienced Food & Beverage Supervisor to join our team!

This is not your typical restaurant management position. We’re looking for someone who loves the restaurant industry, enjoys being on the floor with the team, and also has the organizational skills to help keep everything running smoothly behind the scenes.

You’ll have a mix of weekday daytime shifts focused on management while also serving and bartending, plus a couple of evening management shifts each week during our busier service periods.

What the Role Looks Like

During the week, you’ll work a combination of serving/bartending and manager duties, including:
Preparing and managing the front-of-house schedule
Liquor, wine and beer ordering
Beverage inventory and inventory control
Supporting staff training and onboarding
Managing reservations, large parties and special events
Helping the owners with day-to-day restaurant operations
Keeping the front of house organized, stocked and ready for service

A couple of evenings each week, you’ll step into a Manager on Duty role, helping lead the team through our busiest services, supporting staff and ensuring our guests have a great experience.

We’re looking for someone with strong restaurant experience who is ready to take on more responsibility while still doing what they love.

You might be a outstanding fit if you:
Have robust serving and/or bartending experience
Have previous supervisory or management experience, or are ready for that next step
Are organized, dependable and confident taking initiative
Understand the pace and energy of a busy restaurant
Are comfortable with scheduling, ordering and inventory
Enjoy training and supporting a team
Can lead a busy service while still keeping things fun and positive
