Duties
Prepare and cook a variety of menu items according to recipes and quality standards
Assist in food presentation and plating to ensure appealing dishes
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including utensils and cooking equipment
Follow food safety guidelines and proper handling procedures at all times
Support food service staff in delivering excellent customer service during meal times
Ensure all food is stored properly and inventory levels are maintained
Assist with meal preparation for special events or catering as needed
Skills
Experience in serving, food preparation,
and cooking within a restaurant or food service workplace
Knowledge of food handling, safety protocols, and sanitation standards in the food industry
Ability to perform meal preparation efficiently while maintaining high quality standards
Robust understanding of kitchen operations, including food safety practices
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in food presentation and cleanliness
Positive communication skills to work effectively with team members and support staff
Prior restaurant or kitchen experience is preferred but not required; a robust willingness to learn is essential
