As a vital member of the patient focused team, the NP will provide clinical services in collaboration with all health care professionals. In addition to providing a broad range of assessment, treatment, education and consultation services (specified by their scope of practice) the role of the NP will work with Family Health Team members to provide core services and specialized programs. The NP’s role also includes partnering with the Executive Director and other professionals in the development of programs, resources and the creation of linkages within the Family Health Team and community. Qualifications: Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario as a Registered NP in the Extended Class Registration with the Nurse Practitioner Association of Ontario (NPAO) preferred Masters Degree in Nursing Two to three years clinical experience as an NP (Preferred) Must have professional liability insurance Ability to work as a team member to meet the nursing care needs of patients Demonstrated teaching ability Experience with program development and evaluation Effective verbal and written communication skills Advanced decision making,
