Work with supportive colleagues who are passionate about improving lives and champions for quality and continuous learning.What You’ll Be DoingConduct interviews with clients and client-identified resources, assess social, psychological, emotional and behavioral issues and identify core areas of concern to be addressed by therapeutic interventionsProvide reports on client’s behavior and progress and maintain clinical recordsMaintain knowledge related to the areas of trauma and therapeutic interventionsFacilitate or co-facilitate psycho-educational, experiential and process groupsDevelop, implement and evaluate programs based on patient needs and goalsProvide client-centered treatment, RTW (Return to Work)-oriented support and culturally competent services to clientsAssume responsibility for the treatment, recovery process and support of assigned clientsFacilitate group therapy, provide individual counselling and therapeutic interventionsParticipate in weekly team meetings for client reviews, treatment planning, therapeutic interventions, discharge planning and to organize daily assignmentsEstablish and maintain effective and collaborative working relationships with clinical and program stakeholdersCollect client information for the purpose of customer reports, program evaluation, research, and proposalsParticipate in trauma-related committees, project development, quality improvement, promotional initiatives across SAW (Stay at Work),



RTW Divisions and Inpatient/Residential ProgramsSupervise assigned students and/or internsWhat We’re Looking ForMasters in Counselling, Psychology, Social Work, or other related disciplineValid registration with the relevant governing bodyKnowledge of standardized and non-standardized assessmentsService-specific training i.E., wellness educationKnowledge of issues of trauma, concurrent addiction disorders, Psychosocial Rehabilitation, Recovery, CBT, DBT, CPR, Mental Health Act and PHIPAStrong organizational, time management and presentation skillsProficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPointAbility to provide seamless customer service delivery to both internal and external stakeholders and identify opportunities for customer service improvementProven ability to work independently as well as to contribute actively to team objectivesTake responsibility for actions and decisionsFind ways to integrate sustainability into your own workAwareness and acknowledgment of the value of using measurement-based care when supporting patients/clients to help guide clinical decision making; experience an assetAs an equal chance employer, Homewood Health is committed to employment accessibility, diversity, equity and inclusion.
