Job Overview

Prepare shop drawings and fabrication drawings for aluminum glass and glazing industry.
Create, develop, and revise shop drawings using the AutoCAD software based on customer requirements.
Create material fabrication drawings using the AutoCAD software.
Read and interpret architectural, engineering drawings, and specifications.
Maintain CAD files, drawings, revision records in an organized manner.
Communicate effectively with project managers and senior draft technician to ensure high-quality standards.
Follow industry standards and company quality procedures.
Perform other related duties as assigned.

Skills:
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Able to work with deadlines and quick-paced setting.
Able to interpret and navigate architectural drawings.
Able to visualize 2D and 3D concepts.




Positive understanding of the construction process.
Excellent communication skills and organization skills.
Able to work collaboratively with project manager and individually.
Basic computer skills and ability to maintain file systems and documentation.
Strong willingness to learn.

Requirements:
Diploma or certificate in CAD, drafting, Architectural Technology, or a related field.
Proficiency in using AutoCAD software.
Proficiency in using Microsoft Office software.
Legally entitled to work in Canada
