Responsibilities
Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing to remove plaque and tartar buildup.
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) while ensuring patient safety and comfort.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, including brushing, flossing, and preventive care.
Assist in diagnosing periodontal issues and provide appropriate treatment recommendations.
Maintain accurate patient records using dental practice management software such as Dentrix.
Support the dental team with chairside assisting during procedures, including orthodontics and pediatrics cases.
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing patient questions, scheduling follow-ups, and ensuring a positive experience.
Requirements
Valid licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist in accordance with state regulations.
Experience with Tracker dental office software
Robust understanding of medical terminology related to dentistry and oral health.
Excellent communication skills with a focus on compassionate patient care.
