Embark on an early-career journey as a Field Engineer-in-Training with Trans Mountain in Burnaby, BC. This full time, in-office role emphasizes pipeline safety, project support, and engineering documentation.
Trans Mountain is on the lookout for an individual who is team-oriented and motivated to join their Field Engineering team. This contract position focuses on sustaining capital and operational work at Westridge Marine Terminal. Candidates will assist in planning, scoping, and executing engineering activities, while gaining hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist planning and executing capital and operational projects
Support vapour recovery line and terminal piping engineering
Help prepare Engineered Job Plans (EJPs)
for field activities
Participate in field walkdowns and job-site reviews
Provide engineering support by documenting field issues
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in relevant engineering discipline
Eligible as an Engineer-in-Training (EIT)
Early-career experience in engineering or technical roles
Ability to read and interpret engineering documents
Commitment to safety and team-oriented workplace culture
