Bilingual (FR- EN) Claims Attorney – Remote

About the Opportunity

We are looking for a Bilingual Claims Attorney to join a specialized legal team supporting complex class action and mass tort matters.

This is a great opportunity for a lawyer who enjoys legal analysis, investigative document review, problem-solving, and client communication, but is looking for an alternative to the traditional law firm environment.

You will work on significant claims matters involving large volumes of legal and supporting documentation, using your legal training to evaluate claims, identify issues, and communicate with claimants and legal counsel.

The position offers the opportunity to develop specialized experience in claims administration, class actions and mass torts while working collaboratively with experienced legal and project professionals.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Claims Attorney, you will:

- Review and analyze claims, legal documents and supporting evidence.
- Apply established legal and project-specific criteria to determine whether claims satisfy applicable requirements.
- Identify missing, inconsistent or insufficient information and determine appropriate next steps.
- Prepare clear and detailed written correspondence to claimants and their legal counsel.
- Handle more complex inquiries from claimants and counsel by phone and in writing.
- Use your legal judgment and analytical skills to navigate unique or challenging claim scenarios.
- Collaborate with project directors, managers and other members of the legal/project team.
- Maintain a high standard of accuracy, confidentiality,



professionalism and client service.
- Develop valuable exposure to large-scale class action and mass tort claims administration.

What We're Looking For

- JD or law degree from an accredited institution; foreign law degrees may also be considered.
- Active licence in valuable standing in at least one Canadian jurisdiction.
- Fluency in French and English, including speaking, reading and writing.
- Strong legal research, analysis and written communication skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to review and synthesize complex documentation.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Professional and client-focused communication style.

Nice to Have

- Litigation experience.
- Class action experience.
- Mass tort or product liability experience.
- Experience reviewing complex claims, evidence or legal documentation.
