This role requires deep technical expertise in middleware platforms such as IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE), WebSphere, MuleSoft, or similar ESBs, and a strong understanding of integration patterns, scalability, and system reliability.Working in collaboration with solution architects, developers, infrastructure, and operations teams, the specialist will ensure middleware platforms are secure, stable, and aligned with business and technical requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, build, and configure middleware integration solutions across multiple platforms and environmentsInstall, upgrade, and maintain middleware platforms (e.G., IBM ACE, WebSphere, MuleSoft) to ensure optimal performance and availabilityCollaborate with development and infrastructure teams to troubleshoot integration issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement solutionsEnsure middleware services meet enterprise standards for security, resiliency, and complianceDevelop and maintain technical documentation including topology diagrams, configuration settings, and operational proceduresMonitor system performance, logs, and metrics to proactively identify and resolve issuesImplement and manage automated deployment, failover,

Core Skills and Experience (40%)Minimum 7 years of experience in middleware/integration technologies in complex enterprise environmentsProven experience designing, implementing, and supporting integration solutions using middleware platformsDeep understanding of system integration patterns (synchronous/asynchronous, REST, SOAP, event-driven, messaging)Strong problem-solving skills with experience troubleshooting across multiple systems and layers (application, middleware, infrastructure)Experience supporting mission-critical systems with high availability and performance requirements2. Technical Skills and Experience (30%)Expertise in middleware platforms such as IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE), IBM WebSphere, MuleSoft, Azure Integration Services, or similar ESBsExperience with API Gateway and Management platforms (e.G., IBM API Connect, Azure APIM)Proficiency in working with messaging and event platforms (e.G., MQ, Kafka, JMS, Event Grid)Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
