Tim Hortons in Hope, BC is hiring a Food Service Supervisor to lead a team of 5–10 staff members in a busy restaurant setting. This is a full time position at $20.45/hour for 40 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities:

- Establish methods to meet work schedules
- Requisition food and kitchen supplies
- Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures
- Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation
- Hire food service staff
- Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
- Prepare budget and cost estimates
- Address customers' complaints or concerns
- Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage
- Prepare and submit reports
- Supervise and check assembly of trays
- Supervise and check delivery of food trolleys
- Establish work schedules

Requirements:

- Secondary (high)



school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
- 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in food service
- Criminal record check required
- Excellent oral communication skills
- Client focus, flexibility, initiative, and dependability
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, standing for extended periods

Early morning, morning, evening, night, weekend, flexible hours, shift work.
