Join the BC Public Service as a Community Nurse specializing in youth mental health in Surrey, BC. This hybrid position allows you to provide direct care to adolescents with complex behavioral challenges.

In this role, you will be part of a multi-disciplinary team within the Youth Forensic Psychiatric Services. As a Community Nurse, you will serve as a primary nursing therapist, managing cases and offering essential support to youth in conflict with the law.

Your work will involve counseling, treatment, and collaboration with various services, making a significant impact on young lives.

Key Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments and prepare comprehensive treatment reports
Collaborate with probation services and community agencies




Deliver direct nursing care and consultation to young individuals
Coordinate resources and manage clinical challenges
Ensure comprehensive follow-ups on mental health plans

Requirements:
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Nursing or Psychiatric Nursing
At least three years of psychiatric nursing experience
Registered with BCCNM in British Columbia
Preference for experience in forensic or community mental health
Criminal record check required for employment
