Working in this 88-bed Long Term Care unit in Drumheller, you will assist elderly residents with daily activities and provide necessary emotional support. As a team-oriented member of the nursing team, your responsibilities will include helping clients attain their optimal independence and engaging in positive interactions. Focusing on resident interaction will be key, particularly for those diagnosed with dementia.

Key Responsibilities:
• Help clients with daily living and personal care tasks
• Support nurses in routine care procedures




• Engage with clients through organized activities
• Monitor and report on clients’ health status
• Ensure a safe and welcoming setting for residents

Requirements:
• Current registration or eligibility with CLHA as an HCA
• Health Care Aide Certificate expected within 18 months
• Experience in elder or long-term care support
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Flexibility to work evening and weekend shifts
