Sonic Industrial Services provides surface preparation (sandblasting) for the repair, protection, prevention, and maintenance of our clients projects. We are growing, and looking to add competent Sandblasters to our team.ResponsibilitiesAbrasive sandblasting of concrete, steel, and wood projects in commercial and residential settings.Manage a team independently and complete mobile sandblasting projects within and surrounding Calgary.Work outdoors, performing general physical labor and coordinating with homeowners, other trades, and co-workers.Ensure safety priority through daily completion of maintenance checklists and Field Level Hazard Assessments.Delegate tasks, manage time effectively, and maintain a positive attitude and strong work ethic.QualificationsPreferred: Minimum 2 years of sandblasting experience.For those without prior experience:



willing to learn under one—to—one supervision and instruction.Valid Class 5 Driver’s License with a clean abstract and at least 5 continuous years of insurance history in Canada.Physical stamina to work outdoors and in hot weather.Solid time‑management, delegation, and teamwork skills.Compensation & BenefitsStarting wage of at least $30 per hour, negotiable based on experience and qualifications.Paid time off.Potential for weekend overtime pay during summer months.Competitive wages within the industry.Hours and LocationStandard days of work are Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 4:30pm. Hours may vary with weather and project demand.
