McClure Place Retirement Home is looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Food Safety Attendant to join our team and help maintain a secure, clean, and high-quality dining environment for our residents.

Key Responsibilities

- Monitor and record food temperatures according to food safety requirements.
- Check refrigerators, freezers, and food storage areas.
- Ensure food is properly labeled, dated, stored, and rotated.
- Monitor expiry dates and maintain proper FIFO (First In, First Out) practices.
- Assist with daily food safety and sanitation checks.
- Ensure food preparation and dining areas are clean and properly sanitized.




- Maintain food safety logs and required documentation.
- Assist kitchen staff with following proper food handling and sanitation procedures.
- Identify and report food safety concerns or hazards to the appropriate supervisor.
- Help maintain clean, organized, and sanitary food storage areas.
- Assist with cleaning and sanitation duties as required.

Qualifications

- Food Safety Certification is an asset.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Reliable and responsible.

Schedule

This is a part-time position working 25 days per week from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM. The schedule may vary depending on operational needs.
