Automotive Mechanic

Location: Auto Magic, Prince George, BC
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Salary: $30 Starting per hour (based on experience and certifications)

Auto Magic is a reputable automotive repair facility committed to providing high-quality service and customer satisfaction. We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Automotive Mechanic to join our growing team.

Responsibilities
Diagnose, inspect, and repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic vehicle systems.
Perform routine maintenance services, including oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and fluid checks.
Service and Repair, suspension, steering, and braking components.
Use diagnostic equipment to identify and repair vehicle issues accurately.
Complete work orders and maintain accurate service records.
Ensure all work is performed safely and in accordance with manufacturer specifications.




Communicate repair recommendations clearly with service advisors and customers when required.

Qualifications
Valid Automotive Service Technician certification (Red Seal endorsement preferred).
Minimum 2 years of automotive repair experience.
Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities.
Experience with computerized diagnostic equipment.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
