We are looking for an individual to process both emergency and non-emergency ambulance requests and coordinate unit movements effectively. The ideal candidate should demonstrate strong multi-tasking and organizational capabilities to thrive in a fast-paced, unpredictable environment. Effective oral and written communication skills are essential in this position to provide clear pre-arrival instructions and maintain control under stress.
Key Responsibilities:
• Process emergency and non-emergency requests accurately • Communicate effectively under stress with individuals • Direct ambulance and fire unit movements timely • Provide crucial pre-arrival instructions for emergencies • Operate complex telecommunications equipment proficiently
Requirements: • Minimum 18 years of age and Grade 12 education • Effective written and oral communication skills • Robust organizational and multi-tasking abilities • Ability to make sound decisions in stressful situations • Computer literacy and data entry skills required
