The Business Consultant is a seasoned business professional responsible for delivering strategic consulting services to clients across various industries. This role requires a deep understanding of business operations to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation. The Business Consultant will lead cross-functional teams, manage complex client engagements, and drive measurable business outcomes by providing high-impact solutions that enhance organizational efficiency, profitability, and growth.
You will act as a trusted advisor to C-suite executives and senior management, working collaboratively to solve complex business problems, implement change, and deliver sustainable results. Your ability to blend strategic insights with operational execution will be critical in helping clients meet their goals.

Responsibilities
Project Management
- Delivery of client project work for broad group of industries and technologies
- Keeping the project organized, on time, on budget, and on scope
- Ensuring the end goal is clear, documented, and everyone is moving in the same direction
- Schedule and budget management
- Quality and risk management
- Project resource management
- Working closely with Meira team members and client stakeholders to deliver project scope
- Motivating and inspiring people to get things done
Process Analysis
- Uncovering, clarifying, and documenting current state
- Analyzing for waste, risk, and redundancy to improve the flow of a business
- Identifying solutions, systems, and tools that will create positive change
- Analyzing the technology landscape for opportunities
- Identifying solutions that will help make better, faster business decisions (through data) and transform a business’ ability to make their customers exceptionally happy
Client Support
- Building strong, trusted relationships with clients
- Guiding and supporting clients in difficult decisions
- Making the experience enjoyable and fun
Other
- Researching current practices, concepts, and technologies, bringing them forward to the team, and implementing the ideas that bring value to our clients
- Duties and responsibilities as assigned from time to time by Meira management.
This is a salaried position with a range of $90,000-$110,000.
Key Requirements
Meira team members have wide and varied backgrounds, ranging from education to medical, and from mining to construction. We’re keen to find people with varied experience who can bring a fresh perspective and increase our collective knowledge base.
This role requires:
- 7+ years of experience in an operational role
- Warehouse / inventory management
- Distribution / supply chain management
- Strong business acumen across functional areas
- Master of Business Administration an asset
- Experience in process design and process mapping
- Lean certification an asset
- Experience in project execution / IT project management
- PMP, Agile, or Waterfall certification is an asset
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Critical thinking and sound judgement
- Proven experience directly managing direct reports
