The team oversees a broad and complex portfolio of non‑financial risks—including Third‑Party Risk, Crisis Management, Operational Resilience, Business Continuity Management, Physical Security Risk, and Fraud Risk—using a portfolio‑based approach to identify cross‑cutting themes, concentrations, and emerging resiliency impacts across Capital Markets. Operating in a rapid‑paced environment, the team emphasizes precision, discipline, and high‑quality execution. The successful candidate is expected to operate at this same level, demonstrating urgency, sound judgment, and exceptional attention to detail.This role reports to the Director, Operational Risk & Resilience, Capital Markets.Key Role/ResponsibilitiesPortfolio-Level Risk Advisory– The candidate will be assigned to a portfolio of multiple and interlinked non-financial risk stripes tailored according to their expertise, experience, and interest. They will provide expert risk advisory and oversight of the Capital Markets Front Office non-financial risk profile across businesses, functions, and geographies, identifying and assessing risk concentrations, emerging issues, and thematic risks. Acting as a trusted advisor, they will engage with business stakeholders to promote effective risk management and mitigation strategies.Risk Reporting & Insight– Develop and deliver clear, concise, and insightful 1st line risk insight and analysis to senior management and governance forums. Provide strategic risk insights that go beyond the data by answering the “so what”—highlighting implications, emerging trends, and recommended actions to support informed,



proactive decision-making and effective risk oversight.Stakeholder, CoE & Second Line Engagement– Build and maintain strong relationships with Front Office business stakeholders, the 1st Line Centre of Excellence (CoE), and the 2nd Line Risk functions to ensure alignment of Capital Markets Front Office risk practices with enterprise risk and resilience frameworks. Serve as a key liaison to facilitate effective communication, risk escalation, and coordinated risk management activities.Control Environment Strengthening– Support the design, implementation, and ongoing effectiveness of key controls related to non-financial risks. Collaborate with business partners to identify control gaps, drive timely remediation of issues, and implement sustainable enhancements.
