We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Team Member to join our vibrant team. Homura Yakiniku is looking for passionate and dedicated team members to join our growing family! We specialize in authentic Japanese BBQ and pride ourselves on delivering excellent food and warm hospitality.

We are at Broadway location (201, 950 Broadway ) and we are currently hiring for Dishwasher/ Kitchen (back of house) positions.Available Positions:
Dishwasher and Kitchen Staff (Back of House)
Kitchen/restaurant experience preferred.
Heavy stuff lifting outfit
Robust teamwork and time management skills.
Willingness to learn and follow recipes, preparation, and safety standards.

Duties
Assist in food preparation and cooking according to established recipes and standards.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes and sanitizing surfaces.




Follow food safety guidelines to ensure the highest quality of food handling and storage.
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations during busy service periods.
Help manage inventory by restocking supplies and reporting any shortages to management.
Participate in training sessions to improve skills related to food preparation and safety practices.

Requirements
Previous experience in the restaurant or food service industry is preferred but not mandatory.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Willingness to learn current skills related to food preparation and kitchen operations.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
A passion for hospitality and providing an excellent dining experience for guests.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: From $18.25 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
