Reporting RelationshipReports to a Project Manager in the organization.Job ResponsibilitiesProgram Support & LogisticsSupport Project Managers with the organization, procurement, logistics and delivery of market assessment, trade missions, partners' visits, and trade-related technical assistance and capacity-building projects/activities; Prepare traveladvance requests and settlements, take quotations, and finalize service agreements as required; Help with the compilation of project reports including data collection and preliminary analysis; Support Project Managers with inquiries received from developing country exporters and trade support institutions; Coach volunteers and interns; Reporting & Information AdministrationHelp record and synthesize results and lessons learned from TFO Canada events such as trade missions and trade fairs; Ensure proper paper and electronic recording and filling of program-related documents and information; Help maintain databases for consultants, volunteers/interns; Other duties as assignedRequirementsBA International Development, International Trade, or a related field; MA considered an assetAt least two years of work experience in an international development organization/non‑profit organization/trade promotion organizationAt least one year’s experience of working in developing countries in Asia, Africa, Latin America and the CaribbeanExcellent computer applications skills, particularly Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel as well as OutlookExcellent communication (speaking, reading and writing) skills in EnglishWell‑organized, self‑starter, and independent workerAbility and willingness to work on occasion during business hours in Asian, African,



Latin American and Caribbean time zonesAble to work well in a team and in a quick‑paced environmentNo international travel is anticipated for this position but there may be some travel within CanadaAssetsBilingual (English and French and/or Spanish)Demonstrated knowledge of international trade or knowledge of the Canadian import marketBasic understanding of Results Based Management (RBM) and Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL)Basic understanding of Gender Equality & Social Inclusion, Environmental Sustainability & Climate Resilience, Digitization, Access to Finance and export readiness issuesExperience using Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Microsoft Publisher and database programs and project management tools (Microsoft Project, Primavera, etc.)Employment DurationThis is a 4-year term positionCompensationTFO Canada offers a competitive salary and benefits package commensurate with experience and the norms of the international development NGO sector. As such the salary range is $52,000.00 - $65,000.00Work LocationWork at TFO Canada includes a hybrid work model, therefore, this role will be a combination of virtual and on‑site work.
