The successful candidate will work full time, 35 hours per week, focusing on the social and emotional needs of students. You will help implement mental health supports and promote positive social interactions. Key qualifications include a diploma in Child and Youth Work or Social Service Work, alongside relevant training in behavioral intervention.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist students and families in mental health skills development
• Maintain links with community partners for mental health resources
• Implement evidence-based mental health programs
• Screen and assess student needs for support services
• Monitor student progress towards mental health goals
Requirements:
• Diploma in Child and Youth Work or Social Service Work
• Registration with Ontario College of Social Workers
• Experience in education and behavioral intervention

• Criminal Background Check required for employment
