Become an integral part of the healthcare team as a Service Worker I at the U of A Hospital. Your role includes transporting patients and equipment, ensuring smooth operations in the Emergency unit.

In this regular part time position, you'll support patient care by distributing supplies and cleaning areas as needed. Your experience as a porter or attendant will be vital in meeting the demands of a busy setting. You'll also be responsible for reporting safety concerns and assisting with lab specimen transport.

Key Responsibilities:
• Transport patients and equipment to care areas
• Distribute and replenish hospital supplies
• Clean patient care areas and equipment as directed
• Transport lab specimens, blood products, and charts
• Report safety concerns to Unit Managers

Requirements:
• Grade 12 or equivalent education
• Current Basic Life Support certification required
• One year of experience as a porter/attendant
• Physical ability to manage push, pull, and bend tasks
• Completion of Medical Terminology course
