Job Title: Director of operations – restaurant

Pay Rate: CA$43.00 per hour (30 to 40 hours per week)

Key Responsibilities

Budget & Financials: Analyze restaurant budgets to boost profits; determine costs for food, alcohol, kitchen, and cleaning supplies; modify menu prices and food prep methods accordingly.

Operations & Inventory: Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations; organize and maintain inventory; cost products and services.

Staff Management: Supervise 5 to 10 employees; set work schedules; train and monitor staff performance.

Customer Service & Events: Manage events, handle customer complaints, negotiate catering or facility usage with clients, and participate in marketing plans.

Compliance: Ensure health and safety regulations are strictly followed.

Qualifications & Requirements

Education:



College, CEGEP, or non-university certificate/diploma (1 to 2 years).

Experience: 2 to less than 3 years of relevant experience.

Technical Skills: Knowledge of MS Windows.
