As the Indigenous Relations Manager - North, you will report to the Vice-President and be essential in bridging relationships between Aecon and Indigenous stakeholders. Your strategic advice to project teams will promote cultural awareness and enhance economic prospects for Indigenous individuals. You will play a critical role in conflict resolution and stakeholder engagement for smooth project execution.

Key Responsibilities:
• Foster positive relationships with Indigenous leadership and communities
• Advise on cultural and legal considerations in projects




• Promote training and job opportunities for Indigenous people
• Ensure Indigenous business participation in procurement
• Monitor compliance with all engagement activities

Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Indigenous Studies or similar
• Proven experience with Indigenous communities in resource settings
• Outstanding communication and facilitation skills
• Ability to travel as necessary to remote sites
• Knowledge of Indigenous values and culture

Lead with integrity and help Aecon navigate Indigenous relations effectively.
